The CognitiveClouds brand.

Our identity, guidelines and assets, together in one place.

Our signature.

One name, one cloud symbol. Use the artwork as supplied.

Let it breathe.

Leave space around the logo. A useful starting point is the height of the cloud symbol on every side.

Keep it intact.

Preserve the colors, spacing and proportions. Do not stretch, crop, rotate or add effects.

Choose contrast.

Use blue on light backgrounds and white on dark backgrounds. Keep photography away from the logo.

Space for color.

Neutral surfaces do the work. Color brings focus.

The signature gradient.

An existing site graphic, not a replacement for the cloud logo. Keep its colors, order and direction consistent.

The warm announcement accent is #FF9A5A. Keep it separate from this four-color gradient.

A voice in two fonts.

One for the story. One for the details.

Typeface source

Give headings purpose.

Medium weight, tight tracking and compact line height. Keep the reading order clear.

Keep copy readable.

Body copy starts at 17px. Supporting interface copy starts at 15px, with labels at 13px.

Use mono with restraint.

Choose IBM Plex Mono for labels and technical detail, not long paragraphs.

Download fonts

Webfont files with their SIL Open Font Licenses. Use the source links for upstream font releases.

Consistency is the craft.

A shared set of principles for everything we make.

These guidelines document the current website identity. Practical usage recommendations help keep new work consistent without changing the original assets.

Logo and naming

Use the supplied artwork. Keep the name intact.

  • Write CognitiveClouds as one word, with a capital C for Cognitive and Clouds.
  • Use the original blue-and-charcoal cloud logo on light surfaces and the supplied white logo on dark surfaces.
  • Keep the logo's original proportions and colors. Do not stretch, crop, redraw, rotate, outline or add effects to it.
  • Give the logo clear space on every side. As a practical starting point, allow at least the height of the cloud symbol.
  • The gradient diamond is a website graphic. Do not substitute it for the cloud logo in partner or press materials.

Layout and shape

Keep the structure clear and the details deliberate.

  • Use a white canvas, generous space, restrained gray supporting surfaces and fine dividers.
  • Use square corners for buttons, cards, inputs and content frames. Preserve established exceptions for pill tabs, circular badges and the gradient diamond.
  • Build responsive layouts on an aligned grid. Stack content on small screens rather than shrinking text to fit.
  • Keep supporting labels at least 13px, interface copy at least 15px, body copy at least 17px and lead copy at least 19px.

Voice and positioning

Be specific, direct and accountable.

  • Describe CognitiveClouds as an AI-native product engineering company. Explain the work in plain language.
  • Describe Cortex as delivery intelligence: how we plan, validate and trace delivery. Do not confuse it with the AI product being built for a customer.
  • Name mechanisms and evidence instead of promising guaranteed results. Do not invent metrics, certifications, customer endorsements or timelines.
  • Use sentence case and short, active sentences. Use 14 years in the current company story, not decades.
  • Never imply that Cortex was used on historical client projects unless the project evidence establishes that.

Imagery and icons

Show the actual work, with its context intact.

  • Prefer real product imagery, project screenshots and source artwork over generic stock scenes.
  • Preserve image proportions. Do not crop away useful product detail or represent an illustration as a real product screenshot.
  • Use the site's simple, consistent line-icon family for interface actions. Use authentic artwork for customer and platform logos.
  • Keep client marks separate from the CognitiveClouds identity. Do not distribute customer assets as part of this brand kit.

Accessibility and motion

Make the brand usable, not just recognizable.

  • Use dark text on light surfaces and light text on dark surfaces. Check each color pairing instead of assuming an accent is readable.
  • Aim for WCAG AA contrast: 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Do not use color alone to communicate meaning.
  • Give controls visible keyboard focus and clear accessible names. Keep downloads usable with a keyboard.
  • Keep motion purposeful and restrained. Respect reduced-motion preferences and never hide essential content behind an animation.
