Software Engineer — Full Stack

About the role

Full-stack engineers at CognitiveClouds build complete products.

You may work on a user interface in the morning, an API or database model later in the day, and an integration or deployment issue after that. The point is not to know every technology equally well. The point is to understand enough of the complete system to own meaningful product outcomes.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams with Product and Design and will frequently see products through from initial discovery to production.

What you'll do

• Build production applications across frontend and backend.
• Develop user-facing experiences using React and modern web technologies.
• Design APIs, services and application logic.
• Model and work with relational and other data stores.
• Build integrations with third-party systems.
• Implement authentication, authorization and enterprise application capabilities.
• Work with cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Diagnose issues across the complete application stack.
• Build secure, scalable and maintainable systems.
• Participate in product and architecture decisions.
• Review code and improve engineering quality.
• Own features beyond initial release and iterate based on real use.
